This time, the products have been created using palm leaf .... keeping up a centuries old traditional craft of palm leaf basket weaving This basket also known as the Kottan Basket is part of the rich cultural heritage of the chettiar people of Tamil Nadu, India. (chettinad being a cluster of 75 villages between Trichy and Madurai in southern Tamilnadu)
This traditional craft has been applied to the making of baskets and boxes in traditional designs as well as the making of new products that have everyday utility !!!
